Models by use case

Each entry is a filter over fields the cards carry — not a shortlist we picked. The count is the count the page renders.

• Open-weight models you can self-host — Models whose weights are downloadable, so they can be run outside LLM EU as well. The licence on each card decides whether commercial serving is permitted. · Nalezené modely: 287
• Models built by European providers — Models built by a provider registered in the European Union. A European builder is not the same claim as European hosting, and each card states which one applies. · Nalezené modely: 19
• LLMs for German-language text — Models whose card records German among the languages it covers well or adequately. The card cites the source for that claim, or marks it unverified. · Nalezené modely: 76
• LLMs for French-language text — Models whose card records French. Useful when the workload is French-language text and the model choice decides the output quality. · Nalezené modely: 83
• Long-context LLMs: 128K tokens and more — Models whose recorded context window is at least 128K tokens. A long window is a capacity, not a quality: the card states what the provider published. · Nalezené modely: 308
• LLMs for code: tagged and documented — Models tagged for code work in the catalogue. The tag records what the card claims and what the provider reports, not an evaluation run by LLM EU. · Nalezené modely: 61
• Models and rerankers for RAG — Models and rerankers tagged for retrieval-augmented generation. On a RAG workload the retriever and the reranker often decide the answer, which is why embedding and reranking models are in this list too. · Nalezené modely: 65
• Vision LLMs: text and image input — Models that accept images as well as text. · Nalezené modely: 68
• Audio LLMs: transcription and speech — Models that accept audio input, used for transcription and speech understanding. · Nalezené modely: 17
• Apache-2.0 models: commercial use allowed — Models published under Apache-2.0, which permits commercial serving. The catalogue checks the licence before an endpoint may be routed to. · Nalezené modely: 138
• Self-hostable open models for products — Open weights under a licence that permits commercial use — the intersection that decides whether a model can be run on your own hardware for a product. · Nalezené modely: 138
• Catalogue-only models: recorded, not served — Everything the catalogue records that no endpoint serves today, with the reason on each card. · Nalezené modely: 617
