Mistral 7B Instruct v0.3 is the extended-vocabulary version of Mistral’s original 7B instruct model, with a 32k-token context window and function-calling support. It is still one of the most downloaded open checkpoints and is frequently used as a baseline: the OpenGPT-X evaluation of European languages reports an EU21 average of 0.527 for it. It is well behind current models on reasoning and coding.
